Owners Jayne Rosen and Chaim Adler found each other and then founded Sabra Grill. They met on a Jewish dating website - Jaynie was in Philadelphia and Chaim was in Delray Beach.

Jaynie retired from management in the federal government and was looking to start an exciting business. Chaim, an Israeli and an engineer trained at Technion, had been renovating homes. Remembering the wonderful bistros in Israel, Chaim suggested they build a restaurant with authentic Israeli cuisine. And Jayne decorated the restaurant with a huge wall mural of Jerusalem. Nine months later, Sabra Grill opened!

At Sabra Grill, diners can enjoy everything on the grill: chicken, beef, kafta, or lamb shish kabobs. Delicious sides include Israeli salad, Baba Ganoosh, Hummus, Eggplant Salad, Vegetarian Grape Leaves, Matbucha, Turkish Salad, and more.

For those who like it spicy - there's S'hug -- made out of hot green chile peppers.

Falafel pita sandwiches are a popular favorite -- complete with hummus, tahina, and Israeli salad. You can also get the Israeli Prigat fruit drinks.
